Central Kalahari Game Reserve is the second largest wildlife reserve in the world. The high concentration of predators almost assures you of excellent viewing. We approach the park from the western side and visit all the main pans within the park. The yellow grass and Camelthorn trees create the most beautiful setting and the unfenced campsites amplify the feeling of solitude. The immensity of this park will leave you to ponder. But don’t forget the absolutely brilliant night sky….almost if it is too close.

 Departing from the park, we visit another legendary and sacred place, Kubu Island. “Ga Nnyo” is a dry granite outcrop in the Makgadikgadi Pan. The entire island is a national monument and considered sacred by the indigenous people of the area.
